Description

Sodium Erythobate is a food additive that is used for curing meat. It is also widely used in the production of foods, such as meat products, poultry, soft drinks, beer, beverages, canned fruits and vegetables, and frozen fish. It also helps to improves color of the final product.

Sodium Erythorbate is a considered an antioxidant, which acts as a preservative by inhibiting the effects of oxygen on food. It is also considered to be beneficial to your health. It can keep food color and natural flavor, and prolong the shelf life of your food.

Chemically, it is the sodium salt of erythorbic acid. Sodium erythorbate is also structurally related to Vitamin C and is an antioxidant. Sodium erythorbate is produced from sugars derived from different sources, such as beets, sugar cane, and corn. Sodium erythorbate is considered to be a very safe preservative.
