It’s been an especially cold and snowy winter this year in Denver. Each winter we get our fair share of snow, but when the sun comes out the next day it tends to melt pretty quickly. This year it has been snowing more frequently and colder longer. Today as I look out the front window, the grass is still covered with large piles of snow that will likely be there for a long time.
All this snow means more time inside. I find myself wanting to cook more warm meals, especially in the crock pot to keep us warm and cozy on these cold, snowy days.
